Empty London Road - From Karachi to Taftan Iran Border

The road connects Pakistan to London through Quetta, Chaghi and Iran is known as London Road. The route was famous among many travelers and tourists from Europe are using this way to enter Pakistan or India.

Few years back, you see many travelers using this route to travel by road from Europe to Pakistan, but due to security situation few travelers use the London road.

Travelling from Karachi to Taftan, Iran Bordar (Saindak) through Quetta is great experience for me. One assignment gives me opportunity to travel from one corner (from Hub Chowkhi) to other corner (Saindak) of Balochistan province and travel more than 1500 kilometers in one day.

Our journey start from Hub Chowkhi, Balochistan, wake up at 4 am and leave for Karachi airport. The distance from Hub Chowkhi to Karachi Airport is 55 kilometers and take one and half hour to reach. From Airport to Quetta we have travelled in a private airline named Serene Airline, which take one hour and five minutes. The airline company provide us breakfast and coffee in the plan, the quality of the food was good.
